Local resident Anne Aitken launched her campaign last night (Tuesday 29th May) as an Independent candidate for the Fylde constituency in the forthcoming General Election.

Ann said, ‘People before politics! A soft launch of the campaign last night but delighted that we had people from Warton, Freckleton, Wrea Green, Ansdell , St Annes, Newton, Kirkham and other Fylde towns and villages.’

A spokesperson for Team Aitkin added, ‘I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all that came to the meeting tonight, great to see so many people on a wet Tuesday evening.
